Lux Occulta

What is this board's thoughts on Lux Occulta?

I quite enjoy all of their releases, especially the last two. One of the few black metal (should probably say, black metal-related) bands I can completely enjoy.

I might have heard the name before. What makes them stand out from the crowd? Any soundbites out there to check out?

If you like Drumcomputers, Keyboards and the absence of guitars then it is something for you....... Somehow I doubt it 8)

Sorry, but I have to ask: have you heard Lux Occulta? Recent Lux Occulta?

To the best of my knowledge they have a real drummer and a rather technical one at that. They also have the guitarist from Decapitated (Vogg), and their recent albums have plentiful riffs and extremely heavy distortion. Vogg's guitar work is what makes this band stand out!

As for soundbites, I don't know where to find any. But I strongly recommend the most recent album, The Mother and the Enemy.
