Well, OMNITRON has been available for download in Poisonoise for over a week so I suggest you check it out asap. Imo it's even better than THE KRIXHJÄLTERS' stuff. I was going to upload the "Evilution" CD as well, but I can't seem to find the CD at the moment. Have you heard the CD bonus trax? The song "i" (not the same song as "I") is one of the most haunting and 'different' Metal tracks I've ever heard.

This makes me happy because I thought technothrash was pretty much a 20-records genre, and in a sense it still is, if we're talking exemplary bands with amazing albums that one simply MUST own... but the rest of the technothrash-influenced or not-quite-there-yet stuff is still very interesting to inspect and categorize, and ocassionaly enjoy. I listened to Kinetic Dissent's album yesterday with the lyrics at hand and boy, did that record climb fast in my top25. AMAZING, totally technothrash lyrics (positivist intelligent human against the tribulations of reality and conformity) that both paint the picture and make me feel empathy of all things. This record is emotional. Awesome.

Holy Moses were on decent level with Finished With The Dogs. I think mid period Kreator might be added as well. At least Coma Of Souls. Though I learned that some members trully detest it, I consider Renewal to be their most rewarding effort and one of the best albums from 90's.

Their debut CD was a big disappointment after the INCREDIBLE "Staircase" demo. In a way they were the Canadian Faith No More when they reached the album-stage, but that demo was fantastic. Musically, Not really "Metal" at all, but I really fucking love that demo.

I havent heard Pyracanda, but I would really like to!

Wrathchild America are rubbish, the drummer is now in a band called Godsmack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pyracanda are veryy good.Technical thrash but i like it so you will like it too.About Wrathchild America brrrrr...i have more important bands to hear.

Guys? What are you talking about? Pyracanda (on Two Sides of A Coin that I have, at least) play speed/germanic power like early Helloween, maybe a bit more thrashy and there's not really anything technical going on unless you consider Helloween technical... in a sense they were, but good players do not equal technothrash. The songs have to be adventurous and purposely so, the lyrics have to fit the aesthetic. IT HAS TO BE ABOUT NUCLEAR CATASTROPHE (joking, here

)

Then again, I did say 'mention anything tagentally related to technical thrash' so, okay. I really like Pyracanda on the level that I like Stormwarrior (I never got over my Walls of Jericho phase, obviously) for what it's worth.

Then Wraithchild America? hehe

Also, I've downloaded about 50% of everything mentioned so far in this thread, starting from the beginning of the thread and up until the middle of it and I think I should stop getting new music now and dedicate to actually listening, understanding and cataloguing the results thus far. I am up to that post about Doom, Donor and stuff.

I am considering reviewing every technothrash record there is. For the benefit of SCIENCE!
