Somehow I feel glockose's post was directed at me?

If you have the chance great.
But to call someone an Asshole for not letting the world hear something is just WRONG.
Agreed 100%.
glockose wrote:If I got the first email that started this damn thread and it said. "I saw the auction for the MM record and I would really like to hear this record. Is there any chance you could send me a clip" I would have repley very nicely NO since I did no longer have the record.
BUT the email was not like that and the thread was not like that. It was calling folks Assjholes for not sharing, when they were never asked. And stating the record must not exist or is very bad since they could not already find it on the web.
I never said that it would be very bad, I said that it might be. I also said I took your word for it when you said it was very good. And calling someone an asshole for not wanting to share something is retarded, which I already implied above.
glockose wrote:I think you received a copy of my book. How many records/bands are in there that have never seen the light of day? Am I an asshole because I have not upleaded my collection? I kow how since you aready stated I do so when selling records?
Have I implied that? If you got that impression I apologize, but I think you've misunderstood quite a bit of the point I was trying to make.

Are the lyrics anything like off that old Gogmago Ep with Dianno singing on it that has this verse (off the top of my head):
"Take that weed out of your mouth boy, take that sweet young thing off your lap, if you survive this antisocial behaviour your going to have to face a long term prison rap""
"Its Illegal, Its immoral, Its unhealthy, but its fun"?..hahaha

Don't worry, I think it was directed to me. And glockose, I don't think you're an asshole. You even gave records away for free and to me that shows that you're not a selfish person at all so I don't think you should feel affected by what I said in any way.

Well I do not post stuff for you to download, I have tons of stuff that is not on the web, I can do it but just choose not to.

Isn't that what you called an Asshole?
Well, if you do that then yes, it's an asshole-like attitude. I see that people can't understand that's not that I want stuff for ME to download, I don't even download that much from the stuff that's uploaded here. I just think that music should be out there for anybody who's interested in it to check it out, specially those rare records that have few copies and most people will never hear it even if they really want to. I'm well aware that nobody can listen to everything that's out there but I can't see what's the big deal on making it available in case somebody wants to listen to it. Nobody replied to that question yet.
Am I out off topic? You insulted everyone here saying about "brain damages" etc who don't agree with your non-realistic tactic to share everything. Not to mention the racist comment about US citizens. When we are talking about the right of any collector to share everything he likes to do here's the attack about Americans. In any case, we'll never learn what do you mean each time as it's a usual (c_ist) tactic to jump from one subject to another. Don't freak out, your mind is safe in it's cage. I asked you what's wrong with it about money, women, fame & rock & roll & I've got no answer. Why don't you say that you want to get some of those & you are jealous of? So when you're ready share your rare records but don't accuse anyone else who doesn't share everything he possibly has.Unfortunately we're living in a capitalistic world & you have to accept it (difficult). All the other things are stories for small kids. Speak to the wall.

First off,you are the only one creating fiction and false accusations, you think you can handle an "impressions game" but you can't manipulate ANY sensible being, not in this cheated-chick way.I didn't insult anyone,I have no problem at all with ANY person coming from ANYPLACE around the world, this is an isnult calling me a racist while you don't know me.I'm neither with KKE nor with LAOS (maybe the party you support?) and if you think you live in a world without propaganda you are in deep sleep. You really think I attack the Americans by saying that US bands were after fame&money? This is an at least childish,if not retarded attempt to charge me with it.It is only a fact,as it is a fact that they COULD do it because they were more professional than the Germans let's say and I can't see why this is bad.But being raised with THAT in mind,it is expected that people act like this subconsciously sometimes. What I wanted to fillip is that US citizens can't put themselves in other peoples' shoes because of the difference in mentallity (which is close to the Greek one at times). Why don't I say I want them? How can I explain,it's hard for you to read 5 letters in a row, because I'M NOT!Yes,believe it or not,I'm not jealous of ANY record in the world! If that makes me distinct,I'm glad! But again, open your eyes and start reading from scratch and then judge my point.I know that we live in a capitalistic world,I don't accept it 'cause I don't like it(that's 'cause I have ideals in contrast to you soldier boy) but it's not my issue here.Stop "invading" like a tsoutsou and read and participate!Oh,and I was talking to a wall all this time!
To my mind it is a good thing if people do share their rare records (Mp3, Tape, CD-R....whatever), that other ones can listen and judge about "to buy or not to buy".
On the other hand side:
Instead of thinking about rare records you haven't heard of yet you can go out and hunt for some other ones in the meantime.
If you'll come across with some rare ones I'm pretty sure you wouldn't share it with the whole world, except some close friends.
(this was meant in a general way and not directed to anyone personally)
Well I just came back from a pretty new local record store which I was 'privileged' to look through every record they have in stock in about 2 hours. Guess what, I came away empty handed, not a sign of anything worth buying, unless you need some ultra rare Barbara Steisand and Engelbert Humperdink lps, along with some Bee gees and Peter Frampton records.....rare stuff indeed.

make it Mexico city please
why cant some people deal with the idea that not everyone thinks about sharing everything they own, music or whatever, with the rest of the world, me for example, i dont get affected or offended at all. ITS THEIR STUFF! i dont see the asshole selfishness anywhere
I can understand both sides.I think both sides have their right. But the fact is other.
Why we should be interested so in Metal Merchant or of that kind or tones other US or not super rare LP's.
Have you heard the thousand treasures of the 80's from every country that's been also uploaded or have losed the musical value because they have been uploaded in Strappado blog f.ex?
The 95% of metal has been uploaded.Or more?
Who cares about the 5% when you haven't heard the 1%
Hear let's say f.ex 10.000 great bands and then search for the super rare great 100bands.If you need 80 years from your life to do so.Then if you are lucky enough and have more life time hear the 100never heard bands.
That's my point of view i hope someone shares it too.
