Re: Cover variations / Different Covers (Vinyl only)
I second DaN's praise of your niche area of collecting, it's always fascinating to see these vaiations & i salute your keen eye for often very minor details. Are retitled records also within the scope of your current collecting? For example the s/t Rose Tattoo LP you've pictured above, was reti...

Re: CULT OF THE UNDERDOG Podcast : Episode 15 Now Available!
Here's what's been identified so far. Lots still to be found: 01. JOHNNY HAWKSWORTH - Have A Merry Quickstep (from the 'Glen Michael's Cartoon Cavalcade' TV OST (1966?)) 02. BALTIK - Leslie Briggs (Cult Of The Underdog Theme) (from the 'Baltik' LP (1973)) 03. 04. 05. 06. 07. STEVIE LANGE - Remember ...

Re: GOOD YouTube channels?
I'll save watching this ep 'til the weekend so i can view it from start to finish in a single sitting without interruption. 3 hour episodes are great, but i tend to wind up watching them in 2 or 3 sittings as my arse falls asleep half way through, or i lose concentration as i start watching too late...

Re: CULT OF THE UNDERDOG Podcast : Episode 15 Now Available!
i'm pretty sure there's a track on here by THE SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES, but can't recall the title. from the "Extended Revelation" album. is it "Black Star"? Also, a track by BIG STAR from their 1st album. Right on both counts malegys. Neither are songs i thought would be quickl...

Just realised that Danzig's 'Snakes Of Christ' was (ahem) 'inspired' by The Dictators' 'Minnesota Strip'. Contrast & compare...

Re: Stadium/super-Catchy would-be Stormers from obscure bands?
My doG you weren't kidding with the Riot-hinting there! Yeah, Riot-goes-stadium that would surely have made them at least semi-famous under different circumstances. You know... because of your "generally wimpy"-comment I will never ever listen to the full album, ever. Just savouring this ...

Re: Stadium/super-Catchy would-be Stormers from obscure bands?
'Glasses Hi' by Canadian Hard Rockers China Blue from '87, the stand out track from their generallly wimpy s/t mini LP. In a fair & just world this Riot-esque rocker would have made them as big as Autograph.

Re: Luchando por el Metal - an early Latin-American HM primer
Has ChatGPT developed a sudden interest in obscure metal forums? Yeah, AI bots are the new plague of the internets. Deleting the accounts/messages as they turn up but will enhance the registration protocol asap.. I was baffled by that (now deleted) post so thanks for the clarification/explanation. ...

Re: GOOD YouTube channels?
A thought just occured to me that might explain that 'rough as a badger's arse' phrase. Didn't they use badger bristles to make early shaving brushes because they were so tough? Might partially explain the origins of the saying.
