Excellent episode! Fun that I have most of the records under discussion. Think I was only missing one or 2.
I'll second the love for the Sacrafice Ep, absolutely love that record.

Re: CULT OF THE UNDERDOG Podcast : Episode 12 Now Available!
Starting at about 5 minutes in was a very easy one: Bashful Alley - Running Blind, though that rip sounds really dire!

Re: Cover variations / Different Covers (Vinyl only)
Here i have 2 that are not 100% the same records. Different titles, productions an song orders. https://i.ibb.co/T4W8Cnz/Malachia-Under-The-Blade-Red-Sunrise.jpg https://i.ibb.co/Kj9mqtx/Blind-Vengeance-Taste-Of-Sin.jpg Huh!... Never struck me that that amazing-looking private debut and the later M...

Re: GOOD YouTube channels?
I enjoyed this new episode quite a lot. I am annoyed to still be missing some of the selections. Especially one of them is in my top wants still after all these decades! Left a comment on the episode but it never appeared, so I'm commenting again.

Re: INVICTA - Axeman's Altar
Invicta @ Invicta-thread for tidyness/aDmiN Soooo many decades-old demo-reissue releases in the collection that for some reason seldom gets a replay. How come...? Really glad I put on Rob's Invicta LP because this band is Ace. Heavy & aggressive yet really catchy US Steel that doesn't deserve t...

Re: STORMSPELL new releases
Apparently the DAT tapes were found at some point. So far I have been given "We Trust" 10-track demo 1992, 5 tracks from a session that was recorded shorly after "The Unconquerable," and I'm waiting on Vernon to transfer "the Unconquerable" DAT tape which apparently wa...

Re: STORMSPELL new releases
Regarding INVICTA, it will be remastered from the DAT tapes, so it should sound as best as possible. Vernon told me the LPs were made from a lesser source (not sure why), so for once I'll have the confidence to say the CD would be superior to the wax. That is a very good question to ask Vern. Becau...

Re: CULT OF THE UNDERDOG Podcast : Episode 11 Now Available!
unfortunately I-got-no-nothin! That's not possible, you always spot something. You must have been distracted or under the weather, i'm sure a 2nd play will reveal more. The track at around 14 minutes tickled my cerebral cortex somewhat. For a minute I was thinking ESTRELLA DE MARZO from Bolivia, bu...

Re: 77-79 Style Punk Rock For Corroseum Metalheads
Not sure about your request… Would you like more than just songs, but name of records that you could go for? Today’s suggestion is a live performance from Pure Hell (check their « Noise addiction » reissue, killer release!): https://youtu.be/Paj1QSKIWHs They also recorded a song with Lemmy on the 9...

Re: 77-79 Style Punk Rock For Corroseum Metalheads
A few records mentioned above already represent, good call.
Thanks for the tip on the kbd link, I see they have a number of Misfits singles, I think I have to snag those!

Re: 77-79 Style Punk Rock For Corroseum Metalheads
I guess it goes without saying we have to have this early Plasmatics material in the thread. 20230530_080921~2.jpg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhGmkWCPvJE and a total live gem at CBGB's: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvxEPCrdvso All I'm seeing are youtube videos. Anyone have any records, tapes...

Re: CULT OF THE UNDERDOG Podcast : Episode 10 Now Available!
(Edited down) (the second The Saints LP is also an amazing thing in my world). Would be hard to give you an exhaustive list as such things don’t exist (so much stuff that can appeal to different tastes), but maybe that could be a good idea to have a thread here about those punk records that can mak...

Re: CULT OF THE UNDERDOG Podcast : Episode 10 Now Available!
Returning to this thread I'm reminded of 2 recent acquisitions: 20230524_074527~2.jpg For whatever reason I never see these early Alice Cooper records that are not damaged in some unacceptable way, if nothing else the vinyl is usually just scratched or cover is worn out hard, so I was pleased to fin...
