Never heard of it, I'll have to check that out. What bands can you compare them to?Keir wrote:I've been revisiting the late 80s/early 90s New England thrash metal scene lately, and my favorite demo is easily ATOMICAUST - Appearance Factor.

My list: Asphyxia - Conflagration [Ireland] (1990) Cerecloth - Encrusted In An Oaken Legend EP [UK] (1993) Chorus Of Ruin - Les Miserables [UK] (1991) Fifth Dominion - Towards Elysium...

What's the story behind those unreleased bands, a lot of them were better than the known bands?DaN wrote: Which one is your favourite release? Fave early version of a classic band? Fave 'unreleased' band? Where can we find more material by bands like SURGICAL STEEL, FINAL WARNING, SEXIST, MARAUDER etc?

Anyway, what about the thrash scene? In my opinion: Germany vs USA:1-0. I'll take most US thrash over German thrash, not to say a lot of it was good. But bands in the Destruction, Kreator, and Sodom vein were just too generic. Favorite German thrash bands include Vendetta, Death In Action, Darkness...
