Does anyone have an opinion on "Hero's Tears" by Sortilege (either the French or English versions)?
I am a huge fan of the EP and Metamorphose but never had the opportunity to hear their last release.

White Metal
Although Trouble did not consider themselves "white metal" they were clearly Christian Metal. "Psalm 9" and "The Skull" are both classic. They released a limited number of white vinyl LP's for Psalm 9. Trouble is one of the best Black Sabbath influenced bands.

Bay Area Thrash
I'm an old-school fan and the Bay Area scene was a big part of the picture when I first got into metal. Even if its not your cup of tea a metal fan should respect what has evolved from the Bay area in the mid-80's. These are some of my fav's: Slayer - Show No Mercy (they were still Bay Area in 1983)...

Pre-NWOBHM
I consider Budgie pre-NWOBHM and recommend the album Bandolier in particular (not just for the cool artwork on the cover).
I think Diamond Head falls into this category but I never really got into them.

JAGUAR'S "This Time"
I've never heard the material on "This Time" because all of the reviews were so horrific. Is it really that bad?
It wouldn't be the first time that a band fell off a cliff after releasing a classic (Power Games in this case).

Old Spanish Metal
Baron Rojo's "Volumen Brutal" is an all-time classic. This is a little dated (1982) but definitely metal and the songs are all solid.

Sortilege had the best vocalist (Christian Augustin).
Vulcain was killer but their vocalist has been described as "Lemmy with a mouthful of warts".
These 2 were my favorites but H-Bomb isn't far behind.

Iron Maiden's best album
That's a tough one. I would have to say Piece of Mind. I think their best song is Phantom of the Opera despite Bruce being a better vocalist.

Most haunting song
How about Hallow's Eve by Hallow's Eve. That song is pretty creepy.
