Brilliant! 'Let The Metal Do The Talking' was a totally killer album. Any chance of some live gigs at all? Definitely looking forward to hearing the new stuff! Great! Yes, we are currently planning a tour in the spring together with Torch. All the songs on this album are new written! Here are the s...

Wulcan - a second single!
I just received Swedish metal band Wulcan's single "Mysterier", but... they actually made a second single, too! It was released in 1986, "No More"/"Out In The World". Don't get your hopes up too high though. The A-side is a power ballad and the B-side is a really good m...

Japanes... yeah right
Just like all the Japanese Nexus Heavy Load CDs that are suddenly popping up. All Greek bootlegs. They are even with OBIs! One seller even said "This is not the original press but som later edition". It was never re-issued by Nexus. In this case I can actually only blame the band themselve...

Mr Pangallo
uh uh, though I would be rid of that name by now... This ... person... ripped me off already 15+ years ago. I did some vinyl trades with him back then. I sent him EVERYTHING he wanted, and he sent me half of what he promised me plus the rest were more or less useless stuff. The last drop was when I ...

Crack the Sky
Well, to be honest I don't rate CTS as metal, BUT, take a listen to the album "Strength In Numbers" and tracks like "Lighten Up McGraw" and "Nuclear Apathy" - definitely proto-metal! It's by far their heaviest and best album! I have an album with the band Blue Max Band ...

Hehe, just dug out an old demo by my first band TNT from 1977. The band consisted of: Pelle Thuresson: vocals/rhythm guitar (later in Paradize, Overdrive) Janne Stark: guitar (me, that is) Ola Persson: bass/vocals (later in Turbo and Mercy) Janne Gummesson: drums (he was in the first incarnation of ...

Bigfootkit: Hi! Judging from your tips I think we could exchange some nice info :-) Dirk Steffens used to be the guitarist of Birth Control. He later produced Accept, V2 and some other German bands. His solo album is outstanding 70s hard rock, very guitar oriented wíth vocals by Ian Cussick (who I t...

Now we're talking :-) I've actually covered a lot of these bands on my first Mountain of Power CD (www.mountainofpower.com), such as Moxy, Goddo, Captain Beyond, Budgie, Montrose etc. You should also check out: Marcus - s/t Wireless - Positivly Human, Relaively Sane + No Static Stray Dog - s/t Pooba...

Babies
Hmm... Babies was a pure pop/rock band from Karlskrona. I've heard them several times (also live) but never even considered them close to hard rock. I'll check it out though.

Tumult..
To be honest, I have my notes regarding Tumult at home. The main thing I decided was that Tumult and Rose would not make it into the book! The latest received LPs/12" that do qualify are Blue Balls (quite sucky amateurish garagy hard rock) and X-Eryus (which I thought was pretty decent). Apart ...
