It's supposed to come out on 2LP on a Greek label, but I forgot which one. Haven't heard any news on this front so I guess it hasn't happened yet. It's the album of the millennium so far for me.

Well, for the moment I would very much like to hear the first tape by Malaysian band CROMOK. I have a couple of songs in instrumental versions on an impossibly rare radio promo that sound great, but I feel I can't write a review of it until I hear the original versions as well. Hilfe! Hearing the fu...

I totally agree w/ Keir. See my CRACKED MIRROR- review for reference. There's definitely a lot of crap shoehorned into the label, as well as great stuff that should be able stand on its own merits as just bloody killer, mid-80's European Metal. But NWOBHM overrated? You lost me there, Mr Åmål (altho...

I never liked the WIG WAM style of hard rock, but I must say I always liked "Hard Rock Hallelujah" by LORDI. It totally ties in with some of the stadium HR/HM I listened to as a kid, like TWISTED SISTER, 80s SCORPIONS, KISS minus make-up etc. I've been planning to give their albums a prope...

We recorded an EP called "Metal Beast". It had 4 songs: "Metal Beast" "We Give Life", "The Gates" and a fast version of "Ouiji". There were also live recordings. That wouldn't be the first time a band refers to an old demo tape as an 'EP'. Bloody co...

Oh gawd, so bloody many of them, but some absolute top faves would be: Y DIAWLED - "noson y blaidd" (Best song of the genre? Best song in the universe?) ARAGORN - "black ice" (Sheer & utter brutality! Monstrous guitars!!) REINCARNATE - "take it or leave it/metal in disgu...

Thanx for the warning. TEMPEST still looks like something worth checking out, even if it's from '85. Great title!

Well, those kind of songtitles could actually surprise you in the early 80's and the cover art looks totally Metal, so I'm crossing my fingers... These look pretty interesting as well: DELUGE FIREBIRD FOUNDED TEMPEST TORNADO WARNING Someone at Miskatonic claimed there were about 100 bands/releases n...

Unknown NWOBHM-singles?

...the definition of 'unknown' being not mentioned in Malc's encyclopedia. Who here has recordings/titles/pix/originals of NWOBHM-ep's so bloody rare they don't seem to be mentioned anywhere? Just by chance I came upon a second AXIS (3rd if you count the demo act) at Metal Archives that looks awesom...

...not to mention the godawful post-85 Swedish Eüröpe-clone scene. In no other country on the planet has one band done so much evil (erm, the bad kind of evil) to its own scene

Great synopsis on "Evil Friendship" there. No, the resemblance is hardly intentional, but Death SS fans would surely benefit from checking out DELIVERANCE. The similarities are mostly noticable on the slower songs. One thing about the DEATH SS sound that I enjoy, but few seem to recognize ...

I don't know much about their DM scene, but I do think they had one of the weakest 80's Metal scenes, at least as far as good ol' decent songwriting goes. I recently picked up the EVO debut LP and that one was a nice surprise, but more often than not I'm disappointed with Spaniard Steel. It's weird ...

It's mentioned on Metal Archives: http://metal-archives.com/release.php?id=82647

...but until someone comes up w/ a picture I guess that proves nothing. It could just be some old demo.
