Re: Flynn Records releases...

I've been interested in checking out some of their releases as well. However, there doesn't seem to be a reasonable/safe way to order from them, and the prices of their releases on Discogs are a bit high for a blind purchase.

Re: Non-Metal uploads thread

Graham nailed it w/ the BC description - see DK's "Short Songs" for scientific reference  More weird shit now coming up - and uhm... I do wanna apologize for spending too much effort on this off-topic thread on the Metal'est of Metal forums, but please excuse an old man's fit of 90's...

Re: Non-Metal uploads thread

After several listens I was hooked on this one. You can really hear the Cardiacs influence in the first couple of tracks and the epic “Pink”. I think “More Fish Like” is my favorite and has been stuck in my head the past 24 hours. Makes me wonder what other cool obscure Pronk albums are out there - ...

Re: Non-Metal uploads thread

Quality- and genre-discussions aside, recordings like this will supersede just about any rare 80's Metal demo ever uploaded at this forum in mere obscurity , but let's not be petty... https://www.mediafire.com/file/wupuq1aferwvqwa/FUNZIG+-+More+Fishlike+demo+1993.rar/file Once again, praise hail Se...

Re: Non-Metal uploads thread

I was so sure we had an ancient thread on this subject, but apparently it was just an ancient idea of mine that never came to fruition. Indeed not a first... I'm thinking this would be a cool way for anyone to share obscure, not yet digitzed music that at least has a miniscule appeal to moder...

My bad conscience for not bringing up this in time and keeping up w/ stuff here in general knows no bounds, but anyways: https://thecorroseum.org/ztuff/evil%20dan%20t2.png Really pleased w/ this one. Always loved this theme and the albums and discussions turned out grrrreat. Eternal Hails to Marty ...

Re: Sabbat (Japan)

I like everything I’ve heard from Sabbat (all of their full lengths) - and have both Evoke and The Dwelling in my collection. I think The Dwelling has my favorite material of theirs. I’ll need to hunt down Envenom at some point. Envenom is absolutely flawless and I like it even more than the early ...

Re: Trezor - The greatest Epic Power Metal 7" rarity evah'?!?

Thank you for sharing this - its been on my radar since the East Euro sampler/feature. Great to finally hear the b-side too. The quality of this rip is also a significant improvement over the sampler as well - almost a completely different song. Yeah, I had to "cheat" when adding this tra...

This is excellent stuff - thank you.

The last ~1:30 of the Bianco Zero track is prog/doom perfection.

Re: New faves: MASTER MASSIVE (ex-AKT/VERDICT/ZANITY)

MM's new album "Black Feathers on Their Graves" is also worth checking out - IMO some of their best material is on this one.

CMC did a reissue of the ACT/AKT demo recently as well.
