Solbaid was an obscure Death/Thrash Metal band from Peru, formed in 1987 by Manuel Fernandez (Contumacy, Illapa, Kranium, etc) on vocals, Toño Paco Gonzales on guitars, Pepe Ramos (Spasm, Darken, El Viejo) on drums and Humberto Nalvarte on bass. They recorded a demo/reh in 1987 at Sifuentes studios. (Rereleased on split tape with Cannibalistic by Sodomistic Rituals Prod from Germany, 2022). Later in 1988 the band morphed into Cannibalistic, one of the first grindcore bands from Peru.
