As the title so ingeniously implies, a compilation of Rock music bands ...but from Venezuela (Xotic creds!) and indeed featuring one exclusive HM(ish) piece, so here you go..
ALTA FRECUENCIA - No Me Fallen Neat, stomping, semi-Doomy Sir Lord Baltimore/Pentagram mashup. Same version as on their ample Hard Rock "Cruzando La Linea" 1984 one-off LP (Nothing there for Arkangel/Resistencia fans mind you..)
MAGENTA - Dueño de Tu Destino Classic rock w/ a touch of swing.
ALTA FRECUENCIA - No Creo En la Guerra Spanish-language cover of Thin Lizzy's "Don't Believe A Word", same as LP version.
ALTA FRECUENCIA - Trata One the Heaviest tracks in the band's repertoir was left out off their LP, and this is rather rowdy NWOBHM-flavoured HM '79-material that might not be a masterpiece but will do well on your next Rare SoutthAm mix tape (maybe together with their similarly decent, exclusive offering on the La Respuesta comp from a few years later..).
Tracklist side B:
MAGENTA - Apartate Upbeat 80's rock w/ horns.
KARNAC - Tú Lo Sabes Bien More rock w/ brass.
BANDA MECANICA - Juan Sebastian Ska-flavoured, jazzy & wiggly rock that sounds very South American in an Os Mutantes sorta way..
KARNAC - Esto Es Por Amor Sneaky 60's groove that probably has a genre attached to it that I'm totally ignorant off...
BANDA MECANICA - Si Supiera Mi Abuelita Upbeat, funky rock.
