SCARCROW - Tonight (the power of my love) Uneventful, nasal fem-fronted heavy HR feat. plenty of overused NWOBHM riffing. Previously featured on the equally obscure Just Say No! compilation in 1989.
PSYCHOSE - Enfant Martyrs France's Greatest Hidded Secret riding us down into the bloody battlefield ground with a storming number sounding like BLASHPEME playing a lost gem off OMEN's "Battle Cry". A different, rougher version than on their magnificent CD from 1 year later.
FABRICE CARITEY - Melissa A groovish, neat little instrumental. Pity the 80's disco drums..
WAYLAYER - I'm Fed Up Rough'n'ready Hard Rock, where the sweet, noisy/primitive production > the average songwriting.
Tracklist side B:
MACHIAVELS - Nanou Metal with a fast, almost Dead K.-sounding punk tempo but absolutely not crossover. More like... ARKANGEL meets SATAN'S HOST?? Not as special as that comparison wold imply though.
COMA ETHYLIQUE - Vertige More punky hardrockpunkrock from some Lille suburban garage.
OVER DOSE - Overdose Representing the Thrash-genre, OVER DOSE makes crude but charming start/stop noise like a more powerthrashing LORD CRUCIFIER.
SLEAZY - Dreamland Slightly heavier than the band name would make you think, though in a horridly atonal and warped way.
