Pappo & WIDOWMAKER - Cabeza de Martillo Heavy, pounding, almost Doom'ic Heavy Metal from good ol' Pappo that surpasses the majority of (but certainly not all) his previous Riff numbers. Later appeared on a number of Pappo comp CDs in the early 00's.
HORCAS - Ardiendo en Llamas Enjoyable, straight-forward Speed Metal like a Flotsam & Jetsam filler. Same version as on their "Reinará La Tempestad" debut LP.
LETHAL - Acid Dreams Technical, diverse and very US-sounding Power/Thrash Completely different (and better) recording than on their "Bienvenidos A Mi Reino" MC album that got reissued on LP a few years ago.
EL DRAGON - Jaque Mate This INCREDIBLY catchy, energetic Metalrocker has claws of tempered steel tearing down your spine and may just be the finest Argentinian HM tune ever written, though the original version by the Mangialavore brothers' previous band CHYKLE might beat this re-recording by a hair's breadth..
JAF - La Maquina Mecanica Feel-good Hard(ish) rocker. Same version as on his "Entrar En Vos" debut LP.
Tracklist side B:
HERMÉTICA - Sepulcro Civil Pretty perfect Speed Metal with Power'y riffs & vocals from Argentina's co-finest. Same version as on their superb s/t debut fromt the year before.
KAMIKAZE - Victima Del Rock Melodic and mainstream "American" HR/HM which doesn't suck too bad. Same version as on their sophomore album w/ the same name..
ALAKRAN - Alguien nos divide There's marginally more balls in Alakran's Hard Rock compared to Kamikaze, at least up until the chorus. Good shit, but the same version as on their "Vagabundear" debut LP.
TARZEN - Always A Faster Gun This on the other hand is completely neutered, made-for-the-radio pop-hr for little girls & old ladies. Same version as on their "Madrid" a.k.a. "Es Una Selva Ahi Fuera" sophomore album.
2112 - Detras de la pelicula I guess the vocalist is trying to emanate Geddy Lee, but the end result sound rather rediculous. Otherwise it's decent hard prog I guess. Or maybe it sucks, how the hell would I know...
Taken from their "Alterando Las Divisiones" debut LP.
EL RELOJ - Como Un Animal Balancing the edge of mainstream US radio-Metal and G'n'R partyness. It has its appeal I'm sure, but not for me..
