SILENT RAGE - Psychiatrist Goth'y post-punk that rocks hard.
JOHNNY SEVEN - Danger Money New wave.
NERVEX - The Caller Somewhat punkier new wave/wavier punk.
JESUS COULDN'T DRUM - Growl Growl Acoustic novelty track.
PLEASURE IN PINK - Dead Dolphins More novelty crap. (Check out Ogden Edsl's fantastic "Dead Puppies" instead, for why I call this 'crap'...)
ORION - Storm I really don't think they're using a drum machine here, but man are they sounding awfully mid-80's stale. Which is a bloody shame coz songwise this could have been a long lost, almost-decent 80-81 NWOBHM mid-pace banger. According to The Bible (McMillan's NWOBHM encyclopedia) this version is "..an entirely different arrangement of 'Storm' to the version which had appeared to their earlier single for the label". Prove him wrong and I'll gladly delete this page.
THE SHOUT! - I'll Be Your Hero A shame that this LP was released in '84 coz all the die-hard 76-81 Punk collectors are missing out....
Tracklist side B:
SLEEPING PICTURES - Hit The Deck Sloppy ambient new wave.
THE RED - Call It Art Bad proto-indie pop.
WANDERING SOULS - Change Crap new wave.
SKIN SIDE OUT - Swallow Me Up Mid-80's new wave/alterno similar to early B52's.
SUGAR GLYDERS - Jericho Gets an honorable mention in McMillan's Bible, but despite being nice quirky rock, in no way is this related to nwobhm in TheCorroseum's humble opinion.
MEX - Don't Go Looking For Love Arguably a tad more hard rock than the previous track, but generally a UK-weird 70's glam/post-punk/death rock mashup in the lovable style of kült UK Horror-rockers Nightmare.
JESUS COULDN'T DRUM - Apple Pie For Tea A laughably 'perfect' ending by way of more novelty-pop.
