Get down Nancy
Holy Metal
This band still remains a total mystery as there is no information for band members, no year of release, no song titles, no origin! Normally, this MLP goes for much money and I really can't find a good reason for this. One of the two songs is rock n' roll farts that say nothing to the listener while the other song is good heavy metal that can't save the situation. You'd better tape it and avoid the expensive original unless you are a completist.)
You feel like someone kicked you directly into your balls in the same second as "Get down Nancy" starts! Is it Pop music? There's a Harmonika and a totally poppy beat ruling that song! Alone a few guitar parts prevent you from killing yourself (because if you own this record you've spent alot of money), "Must be a bad joke" will raise up in your head immediately. Fortunately the title track brings back a smile on your face again because this song can finally save the record and your imaginary satisfaction (You somehow have to explain to yourself about the why you've bought that record!). Nice pounding typical US Metal with pretty wild squealing guitars and a kinda strange drum beat (Did he use an E-drum??). Vocal performance is of the kind that everyone likes, little bit screamy in normal regions. So this track makes the EP buyable and listenable but if you weight out the price and the content you must be a complete idiot to waste your hard earned money for such an EP, that doesn't include any info. Even the labels are white. One side is plain, not even songtitles printed on the cover, no year, no nothing. One of the USA's rarest records but only for those who don't know what to do with their bucks...
