Die gemäßigteren Tracks gehen so etwa in Richtung härtere Survivor ("Eye of the tiger"), wobei Snowmen gitarrenorientierter agierten.
You still can obtain this LP for a few bucks nowadays but I don't get it why it is so. There are many other US LP's available that totally suck while this privately pressed album contains mainly fresh melodic Hard Rock with some powerful guitarwork as well as a few serious Metal influences that especially making the best and heaviest tracks (namely "Crazy", "I need love" and "Trouble") on it extremely fine and listenable hits with great drive and above standard vocals with an melodic edge. What you see is what you get, you surely do know this proverb and in case of the Californians Snowmen it fits perfectly. For the style of the other tracks just imagine a heavier version of Survivor's "Eye of the tiger" with better guitar parts. Besides the black vinyl version the band also pressed a white vinyl edition that's a little bit harder to find, but when you're lucky you can even find a version with promo booklet, but I've seen it just once yet. But it doesn't changes at all that this LP is very recommended to all Hard Rock and early Metal fans who like it melodic.
