Wie geht so was überhaupt? (Bei "Running away" und "No mans land" erinnern mich SANCTUM klar an allerbeste "Queen of the reich"-Zeiten, was wohl durchaus eine Referenz darstellt)
Wow! This is another hidden treasure from US and I really can't believe these guys didn't make it to the wider audience and didn't attain world fame. WHY???
If you prefer melody rather than brutality this album is for you because it's melodic all the way through. The begining of the song "Believers" is some progressive/polyrhytmic riffing but then it continues with some killer US metal. Vocalist has great voice (high pitched type) and at moments sounds somehow "childish" (which is way better than some "serious" and boring vocalists) and in the song "Running Away" he sings very high. The combination of voice and drumming will leave you speachless! Totally amazing! And the stop'n'go riffs in the songs "We saved" and "Believers" kill and will make you wanna headbang heavy! Everything is perfect on this album: vocals, riffs, melodies, solos, rhythm section. Production is soft (no stupid "modern-mega-super-blast" production) and I know every fan of US power metal will love it. The only thing I don't like about this album is the cover "art". It's really awful (done in Photoshop in about 2-3 minutes).
I've never seen this CD being sold so I don't know what is the "regular" price for this gem but I suppose it's very high. One collector told me that this album was pressed in 100 copies only! Aaaah, the mysteries of life...
PLAY IT LOUD!!! (Vladimir)
