It is with great sadness in my heart that I'm sorry to inform you that much like with their previous masterpiece "Andalusia", the FUCKING MURDERERS at the helm of the band's label decided to once again behead the legacy of their artists on this exclusive vinyl promo, and only include 2 of the real Metal tracks featured on the commercially available full-length MC album - the rest is schmallad offal.
I've done The Rant on this subject already in the review above, so let's just skip ahead to the possitive parts:
I'd be hard pressed to pick a favourite among the 2 last ROCKERS/Z albums - they're rather similar in style and on this their final album they've once again managed to produce some of the most epic and unforgettable Asian Power Metal tunes in existance, the difference being that on "Dukun" they've moved even further away from the Maiden/trad.-HM sound that started their career and gone full-blown Power Metal with no token "rockers" left in their repertoir. This time though, they've actually managed to include the 2 best songs of the album - the incredible, energetic Metal Storm of a title track that... I can't really put into words how intense this masterpiece is, sorry. Not checking out this gem is equal to severe self-abuse and considered illegal in at least 50 countries and about a dozen US states. Coupled with this barnstormer is possibly the most exotic and unique track in their discography, the mesmerizing "Kesatria". To imagine where they could have gone from here if they had continued on this path, including even more eastern scales and Asian harmonies on future albums is one of my hottest Metal fantasies..
Meanwile, rotting in a ditch somewhere in the Malaysian jungles lies the executed corpses of catchy PowerSpeed'ster "Catur Dunia", the masterful US Metal-tasting "Di Kalong Langit", the pounding yet atmospheric "Sengketa" and last but not least the almost tribalistic treasure of a song "Karam".
May you all one day rise from the grave and be reborn onto a proper and complete vinyl reissue!
