Fugitive was one of the many British groups emerging in the late 70s/early 80s, which released just one single and never heard of them again. Some of these bands deserved a better chance and they certainly belong to this category. Both songs are excellent samples of NWoBHM, with great riffing, nice solos and interesting rhythm changes. "Need my freedom" is a bit more melodic and catchy,
while "Don't tell me I'm crazy" is more solid, with a couple of riffs reminding me of Bleak House. The vocals fit very well to the music, revealing a portion of insanity on the B-side track. The rather low price (compared to other obscure NWoBHM 7"s), for which this 7 inch can be obtained, is another plus.
Fans of NWoBHM should definitely look after it, while fans of heavy metal in general might also like it.
