Driving Roller
Although there's clearly "3 track EP" written on the back cover and a 3rd track written in japanese showing up on the front cover as well, there are just 2 songs featured on the EP. This is one of these few japanese records (not a big fan of japanese Metal at all) where the proverb "What you see is what you get!" fits indeed! 2x purest melodic Power/Speed Metal, while the B-side "Driving roller" is the heavier tune of both, with killer guitar solos and basically in the same vein like the Power Metal trax on their "Something like hot" LP, but ways more aggressive sounding. Unfortunately the production is quite poor and let both songs appear pretty thin sounding moreover the "girlish" vocalist hurts my ears as usual. He's barely bearable this time and I pray that he doesn't try to hit higher tones too often. Still like on so many other japanese records I the hell don't know what language he's using. I'd say it's japanese but I won't swear an oath on it! Though the musicial presentation's on a high level.
