Looks like i forgot to post my rip of this demo on here after all. So here it is.Ripped, Restored & mastered from the original demo tape :
Although HARTER ATTACK's 1989 album "Human Hell" is a very decent Thrash metal album, this here 1988 demo sounds like a completely different band. Glen Evans (Nuclear Assault) produced this demo but was not involved in the songwriting or performing on it. This demo (their 4th one, called "HATE") is a good US Metal demo, but sounds about 5 years too late. They sound more like a slightly heavier version of Accept circa 1982-1983 & nothing like their Human Hell album which appeared a year later. Personally, i think Glen Evans had alot to do with their change in direction & modernization of their sound (funnily enough, exactly what Pantera did around the same time). But if you appreciate decent mid 80s US metal with some emphasis on heaviness, then i'm sure you'll like this plenty. The tape itself has suffered from some minor deterioration & has sounded better in the past, but with some gentle restoration & remastering, it came out sounding decent enough. 4 tracks, 12 minutes.
