Rimortis: Deset kroku zpet

Im totalen Untergrund bewegen sich seit Jahren RIMORTIS. 1998 gegründet ist "Deset kroku zpet" bereits das fünfte Album der Band und immer noch spielt die Band melodischen Metal. Insgesamt leben Rimortis von ihrem hervorragenden Sänger Milan Hloucal, der sicherlich zur ersten Liga tschechischer Sänger gehört. Das musikalische Material reicht von traditionellerem meloischen Metal bis hin zu symphonischen Uptempo-Songs, die zum Glück ohne Kinderliedrefrains auskommen. Etwas erinnern RIMORTIS an SALAMANDRA. Im Gegensatz zu dieser Band haben sich RIMORTIS aber im Lauf der Zeit nicht zum austauschbaren Beliebigkeitsact gewandelt. Die Songs auf "Deset kroku spet" sind gut produziert und schön ausgearbeitet. Wer mit SALAMANDRA (erste beide Alben), ALES BRICHTA BAND und TURBO (CZ) etwas anfangen kann, sollte RIMORTIS eine Chance geben. Als Bonus gibts eine Zusatz-CD mit älteren Songs der Band, sozusagen eine "Best of".

In the total Underground since many years RIMORTIS try to get more audience. "Deset kroku zpet" is the fifth album in the meanwhile and still the band plays their melodic Metal. The absolutely convincing vocals from singer Milan Hloucal show us that the band for sure is a part of the first league of Czech Hard rock/Heavy Metal-music. The musical material ranges from traditional melodic Metal to more symphonic songs which to our all pleasure work without an enerving soulless bombastic overkill. Sometimes RIMORTIS remind me on SALAMANDRA. In contrary to these RIMORTIS did not move from a good Metalact to a faceless band without any unique style. The songs on their fifth album "Deset kroku spet" are very good produced and well outworked. If you like the sound of Bands like the mentioned SALAMANDRA (early albums), ALES BRICHTA BAND and TURBO (CZ) you should check out RIMORTIS! The album comes with a Bonus-CD which is something like a Best of from their former albums.
