JIMMY BAND - T'amo Pio Buio A laugh-out-loud ridiculous keyboard start off what shortly after turns into a fine Hard Rock tune with some great vocals and nice nwobhm'y twin lead bits. And a sax solo.
BIG BROTHER'S BAND - Blues Vidal Blues rock.
Dr. FAUST & THE COFFEE HOUSE BROTHERS - Suck My Biberon Trad R'n'R.
LAUGHING SAM'S DICE - Libertà Rock ballad.
PERIZOMA - Se Ti Mouri Jerky new wave/post-punk with fem vox and some really cool eastern/"camelback" riffing.
Tracklist side B:
CROM - No Apartheid Slough-Feg-meets-classic-Maiden guitar-riff-Metal sounding very Italian still. Lke a more epic Hocculta or Shining Blade perhaps?
TEGEN HART - Surfin' In Time I first read the title as "Surfin' Time" and was pretty bummed that the chose a Beach Boys cover for this album. Luckily that wasn't the case and I'm happy to report it's the same atmospheric yet catchy meta-Metal here as on their superb "Noise Underground" LP from the same year, possibly a tad less progsy.
AXE - Salvati Uomo Pure Mythra/TOPT NWOBHM Speed-Rock, delightfully dated. A studio version appears on their rare "Alternativa X Evadere" debut album from the same year.
PUBS - When I Was Twenty Four A total disaster of a blues ballad.
MIRIORAMA - Estasi Fatale Schmalzy alternative pop.
